Behind the Times

 I just finished reading Smashed: Story of a Drunken Girlhood by Koren Zailckas. It seems I am a bit behind in the times as this was published in 2006. However, it is still worthy of  my blog and, for any girl out there who hasn't read this yet, I strongly recommend it. The backdrop of Koren's life will entice you in almost at once as she takes us along her downward spiral into alcohol and alcohol abuse. By the time she writes this book, she will be only 23 years old. Stunning. An absolute must read!
