Another Adult Crossover Book

I'm never read anything by Kristin Hannah until Night Road. She writes for adults and this book will be found in the Adult Section at the library. With that said, I think this book will settle in nicely for older teenagers as well. It's a story based on three teenagers in their senior year of high school. Mia, Zach's twin sister, is less popular than her brother and has been a loner throughout her high school years until a new girl, Lexi, arrives and the two girls become instant best friends. The only thing that could threaten their friendship is the undeniable attraction between Zach and Lexi. This book had me hooked immediately. I couldn't put it down and I absolutely love that in a book. It's more than just first love, or friendship. It's about real life and the choices we make that can haunt us forever. I cried twice while reading this book. I will certainly be exploring this author and I hope you will also.
