I'm not sure what everyone else looks for in a book but for me it has to have something special. Whether it be romance, action, a gripping story, well written, the one thing I always seem to enjoy is if I can be hooked into the story. We've all heard this....we may all feel the same way. We are looking for that hook, that magic that pulls us in and  makes us to wants to know what is going to happen next.

Paul Griffin does this precise thing in his book Burning Blue. A young beautiful girl is burned by acid thrown at her face in the halls of her high school. What entails is the burning questions of who did this to her, is she still in danger, will anyone ever see past the now ever present scar on her face and the list of questions go on and on.You will even begin to wonder if she did it to herself.

Paul Griffin is so masterful at telling this story that you will simply want to know. Thumbs up to this one!
